Praise the grammer police.

Last weekend was TCAF and Hughtron's Birthday.
I only got to attend one of those two things, but on the upside I did get to watch a silly kung fu movie with my family, and that was fun. I hope that at some point in our life we learn how to budget money, so that we can actually attend one of the super cool comic festivals that I always get to read about. And that one (TCAF) had pretty much all of my favorite artists in one spot.

I did, however, get a silly videogame for my birthday. It is about Japanese schoolchildren who use special guns to shoot themselves in the head and somehow this lets them fight demons. It is also a dating simulator. I love it.

ALSO: What is the deal with Brandon Graham comics? They are always super amazing looking, and funny and clever, but I also always feel really skeezy reading them.

I'm home from Ontario.

Since arriving home I have

•been yelled at by a bunch of angry newspaper customers,
•watched my good friend Andrew Sowerby get married
•welcomed my good friend Matthew Klaas home from Toronto, where he was actually doing a good job that helped people. I am glad that he is home because now everyone else looks less useless and selfish
•tried to no avail to locate a copy of the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Soundtrack on the internet (for me to steal)
•listened to the Harry Potter 5 soundtrack
had my apartment sprayed for fleas!
•bought Casanova #8. Verdict: Super Good.
•wanted to buy Multiple Warheads #1. Verdict: I don't have any money.
•wanted to buy The Last Call. Verdict: Strange Adventures was sold out.

It is almost my birthday, (August 18th!) and these are the things I want in order as gifts of expensiveness:
-a ticket to Toronto so I can attend TCAF
-original comic art (maybe from [info]jimrugg ?) (or maybe this Monica Beetle art that is totally still available) (except the ZIBZIBBYZIB page is SOLD)
-Pulphope
-a copy of 5 from Khepri.
-World Peas.
-lots of money.
-somebody to pay our phone bill.
